NOTE: Your boots are 100% made with genuine leather. As a result, your boots may have cosmetic imperfections such as minor scratches or blemishes on the leather and a non-uniform color throughout the boot; this is a natural material with natural finishing with the intention of appreciating wildlife the animal had.

  

HOW WE WORK

We manufacture our boots exclusively on demand, which reduces waste and enables us to employ a more environmentally friendly production process.
Orders are opened throughout the year at various periods. After you place your order the production process might take between 4 - 5 months until orders are dispatched by DHL to the destination country.

Since we moved the production 100% inhouse we had experience a queue due to the delay of the third party and due to the improvements we have done. Based on that, for this year we would have to increase our production time to 6 to 7 months.

It's important to take into account that it is a handmade process, so it might takes longer in some cases.

They Just Keep Getting Better

This is my third pair of Tukanos. I have pairs in olive, tan and, now, chestnut. All are beautifully made, with great attention to detail. I've seen (and felt) subtle improvements over time, with each pair speaking to Andres and company's growing practice and skill as cordwainers. The chestnut pair was my first time requesting a dogger heel, which requires a practiced hand to shape properly, and the workmanship on them is top-notch. Best of all, Bordon's prices are more than reasonable, the best overall deal in the boot world right now.

On a final note, yes, this pair took 14 months to arrive. If you follow Bordon on social media, Andres has been quite transparent as to why production in 2024 was so delayed. He never tried to hide what was going on, and even personally messaged me to let me know that my pair would be one of the most delayed (due to the dogger heel). This is part of ordering from a very small business, and a risk one takes in doing so. I'd much rather make a purchase like this and know that my money is going to a hard-working craftsman than buy from one of the major players in the boot world. Bordon repaid my trust and patience with a stunning product, and I would wait just as long all over again knowing the Bordon is worth the wait.

These boots are awesome, easily comparable to the PNW brands..... Top grade materials, wonderful construction and at a great price
Great comfort, perfect fit, the pull up in the leather is awesome, the colour moves around like the Northern Lights!
And to add Andres and the team at Bordon are exceptional in answering questions and helping with fit and custom options

Awesome boots

Great boots on every way- looks, feel and fit. I went with my RW Iron Ranger size and it's perfect. I have pretty skinny\low volume feet so others may need to size or width up, if IRs are snug.

Worth the wait! Thanks Bordon.

What a great boot from fit to quality Bordon punches way above their price point as a owner of several pairs of nicks /whites/JK BOOTS these are in the same tier in some cases even better the owners of the company are gracious and appreciative of the customers after the first two pairs of boots I received I ordered 3 more their a work of art🫶🏼

Chestnut Tukano boot

11/11/24 I just received these well-made boots. They are better in person than online. The verdict is still pending on the fit and break-in of the leather. Overall, this is a nice boot if you're expecting superior quality for a reasonable price.
