Frequently Asked Questions
Please don’t hesitate to email us at info@bordon.com.co any time of the day and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
WHERE ARE YOUR PRODUCTS MADE?
Our boots are 100% made in Colombia.
WHERE IS THE RAW MATERIAL FROM?
The upper and lining leathers come from the best gold-rated tanneries in Italy, and from the best North American Tanneries such a Wicket and Craig and Horwee. Our soles are sourced by Vibram and Dainite. The Insole, Midsole, and Heel block leather come from the best vegetable-tanned tannery in Colombia.
ARE YOUR BOOTS RESOLEABLE?
Yes, they are fully resoleable; the stitch down double row design allows the cobbler to resole the boot by just removing the outside row of the boot that attaches the upper, misole, and outsole; the cobbler only needs to remove the outer sole without compromising the upper's integrity.
WHAT ARE THE BOOTS' CONSTRUCTION?
We manufacture our boots with Stitch down double row and nail down construction, which means a much better long-lasting construction method.
DO YOU USE CORK FILLING?
Yes, between the insole and the midsole of all of our boots has cork. It is crucial to keep your feet warm and dry; this prevents moisture from entering the shoe, and over time, it will maintain your footprint and make it more comfortable with each wear.
ARE YOUR BOOTS WATER RESISTANT?
Yes, we built our boots with high-quality standards and high-quality materials. We use a wax suede from one of the best gold-rated Italian tanneries combined with Vibram/Dainite rubber soles, making a perfect combination to use in wintertime.
