This is an exclusive development created in collaboration with Wickett & Craig, one of the last remaining vegetable tanneries in the USA. Utilizing their renowned vegetable-tanned process, this leather is an authentic expression of heritage tanning.

What makes Waxed Flesh Nut Core truly special is its unique duality:

• The Exterior: A formidable Black Waxed Flesh provides a rugged, protective layer, ready to face any environment; a nod to Bordon's durable, built-like-a-tank construction.

• The Core: Beneath the wax, the reverse side of the hide reveals a rich chestnut core.

This leather is designed for patina hunters. As the boots are worn, the initial protective black wax layer will naturally scratch and abrade, deliberately exposing the underlying Chestnut grain in high-wear areas.
