Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5)Review: I have been wearing my Bordon Boots for a full year now, and I am incredibly happy with the overall package. The standout feature is absolutely the craftsmanship. The construction is robust, the stitching is clean, and the main leather panels have held up beautifully to regular wear. It is clear that the makers care about producing a high-quality product. That being said, I have two small pieces of feedback for potential buyers and the brand: 1- The Tongue Leather: While the rest of the boot uses exceptional materials, I feel the tongue should automatically feature the exact same quality leather as the rest of the upper. Upgrading this would truly elevate the premium feel of the boot. 2- Sizing Runs Small: Be aware that the sizing runs a bit small. I even contacted (Andres) the makers directly and followed their exact recommendation, but the boots still arrived tighter than expected. I highly recommend sizing up slightly or double-checking your measurements. Overall, these are fantastic boots made by skilled creators. If they tweak the tongue materials and fine-tune the sizing guidance, they would be absolutely perfect.
Nice passport/Id holder. Has a ticket pocket that I don’t think people use anymore. Might be nice to close the bottom of that slot to carry another card or something.
Fantastic pair of boots! The leather is exactly what I was looking for, and the folks at Bordon built them exactly right. They were even able to give me a double midsole, which helps me out a ton. I have already ordered another pair of boots, and I cannot wait to get them!
Long story short, yes I would buy these again, yes I would recommend them to a friend. Just be patient when ordering, good things take time.
The fit and finish is amazing. I was very happy when I received them. I have been wearing them a lot and still trying to get them fully broken in. My only recommendation for improvement is not in the product, but in the ordering help and communication which seems to have improved since I purchased mine. I understand that as a small company this is difficult, especially when handling lots of orders. And I’m not saying that I’ve had a bad experience, I was just hoping for more communication on when my order would ship or sizing information, or other related updates.
I love these boots! This is my second pair of Bordon boots and the quality and finish is amazing. I would recomend them to anyone. They are boots that you will have for life.
